Who we are….

We are a Not for Profit Agency. Our mission is to combine a love for horses and knowledge of several therapeutic techniques to create a powerful healing force for the children and families of the Pee Dee and surrounding regions.

What We Do

Horses move the closest to human walking. It is relaxing, brings down barriers, and allows treatment to occur on the first session. Equine Facilitated Therapy using a Clinician and Horse in partnership,  more quickly establishes rapport and has a greater compliance rate that any other therapeutic tool. We are fortunate to work as a team with your child’s medical providers to create a holistic program for your child.

• It is one of the best modalities of therapy to address balance issues, movement issues and other physical challenges.
• It is also one of the best tools for mental health therapy. Equine-facilitated Therapy treats: Depression, anxiety, Oppositional Defiant t Disorder, ADHD, ADD, Anxiety, head injuries and many others. With the exception being schizophrenia, and psychotic disorders. 

What else should you know?

We welcome volunteers as side walkers, barn helpers, PR helpers, Show helpers and work-study students. 100% of all donations go to offset the cost of tack, supplies and the care of the horses. Horses are accepted as donations as long as they are sound, healthy and child-safe.
